The report is text, supplemented with small video clips, compiled and sent remotely via a mental link into the Network, since he's a robot and can do such things. It was set to automatically post if X did not add to the report within a specified amount of time.

Obviously, he won't be answering any replies, but feel free to wtf and talk among yourselves or whatever? hope this looks good to you, mods, I'll change anything if there's a problem. <strike>and now all this alien conspiracy stuff is making me want to replay Beyond Good & Evil</strike>]

As open as this place is, I can't help feeling uneasy sometime. It's been many years since that time when I was the only one of my kind, but the feeling from then is still present... constantly having to prove myself as an actual person, and not a well-made machine. As far as I'm aware, myself, Canti, and the Servbots are the only sentient robots in the City. It's like I've taken ten steps backward. The mix of people here makes it different than it was then, and probably no one even really cares, but I can't help feeling isolated sometimes.

...I really do worry too much.
[/private]

Is there someone out there looking for a roommate? Finally, a shirt and hat matching the description of the suspect's attire were found in a nearby dumpster.

I've been thinking on this, and in my opinion, it's likely that the box murderer, at least, is a newcomer to the City. I've come up with this theory based on two facts: 1. the apparent unique nature of the crime, and 2. the liquefaction of the remains. The resurrection of the dead here is common knowledge and such an act seems like it could be a test of sorts. Of course, there is no hard evidence to back this up, but if the murderer is a long-term resident, it is likely he or she would have killed in a similar manner before.

At this point, it seems the best asset to this case will be if the shopkeeper manages to return to life.
[/filter]

The City seems strangely calm today.
I apologize in advance for my indiscretion, but it seems today's curse has gotten the better of me... I'm rather curious about the demographic structure of this City, and I've created a brief survey that I would appreciate it if you would fill out. <strike>This is highly unscientific, but...</strike>

1.
So today's theme seems to be discussing homeworlds?

Mine is really nothing extraordinary, but it's home. The planet is called Earth, the same as many of yours, and the year is 21XX. Around a hundred years ago a disaster called the Cataclysm wiped out a good portion of humanity and habitable life. But humans picked up the pieces, and reploids like myself have been helping them along.

...Or we were until Mavericks started appearing and the wars broke out. But someday they'll be gone for good. As long as we don't give up hope, I know peace will come eventually.

It seems the City has quieted down again, and the <strike>Mavericks</strike> hostile robots show no sign of bringing reinforcements. Yet... I can't help but do so. Zero, Alia... everyone must be frantic by now.

Still, at least the City proves that those hard-line human politicians are wrong. This place has plenty of suffering, without any reploids around at all...
[end]

And Leviathan, thank you again for allowing me to stay with you.

[ooc: I'm just going to assume X helped out fighting the Mugan, shooting down explosive fragments and such.]
